The 50 best spa hotels in Seoul (2024)

The Conrad Seoul offers guests a luxurious and comfortable stay in a high-end hotel with an indoor pool and spa, as well as 6 restaurants. Offering excellent business facilities, the property is located on Yeouido island close to financial prowess and nature. Rooms are spacious and golden hues are dominant in the lobby area.

If you're debating between Conrad Seoul and Grand Hyatt Seoul, CHOOSE CONRAD!!! Grand Hyatt has some pretty amazing views, but apart from that... Conrad is a clear winner. It was a classy experience that truly upheld Korean culture while making foreigners feel extremely welcome. It's also conveniently connected to the subway station (~5-8 min walk via the IFC mall). It's also a next to a beautiful park an the Han River! Also their breakfast buffet is SUPERB!Lastly, all of the staff is super kind, professional, and extremely accommodating! They treat everyone like a star!

The hotel service was great, and the room was awesome. The amenities within the hotel looks very classy and nice, but the food at the restaurant was just okay, definitely not worth the money they charge. The location of the hotel made it very easy to go out and eat on the local market (the hotel is connected to two large malls). A little upset they wouldn't give me a paper receipt.

The hotel gives us a anniversary surprise for my wife. I didn’t expect the hotel will provide a outstanding service either Front desk or Housekeeping. I sent the email to the hotel around 6 months ago to arrange this surprise for her! The overall experience is over my expectation during the entire stay. Especially, I need to mention Mary Kim. If Mary didn’t put the effort in, this surprise can’t make it happen 🙂

Incredibly well appointed hotel with excellent amenities… in a very elegant setting. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Service in fantastic as the staff are all very accommodating and helpful. Too many amenities to list… but all well done! Quiet and serene… a perfect place to unwind and relax, to wake up refreshed the next day to sightsee or take on the business world!

Fabulous high end hotel in Hilton chain. Fairly good location. Rooms are nice and restaurants are good. Has a great club lounge on the high floor. Very modern. Service is good

Truly recommended for those travellers who would stay here with five star service and food. The room is spacious and comfortable. Perfect location with walking distance from the underground. There’s a shopping centre down the basem*nt.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Despite its somewhat inconvenient location in the business district, it was a delightful experience. This is one of the more upscale hotels in the area and is ideal for travelers seeking a quieter location and a higher level of comfort, even if it requires some travel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a TV in the bathroom being a nice touch. There is a shopping mall right across from the hotel, and the IFC Mall can be accessed directly from the hotel as well. The facilities are impressive, including a large gym with ample equipment and a swimming pool, although the pool is sectioned off for different users like members and swimmers.Breakfast was good, though it didn't offer much variety day-to-day. I highly recommend the 37 Grill rooftop bar and restaurant for its excellent food and co*cktails, as well as the stunning views of the Han River and Seoul skyline. I was also pleasantly surprised by the special birthday surprise they arranged for me.

I stayed here with my family and this hotel is very clean and awesome. Very high class hotel. Definitely recommended for anyone. The room very clean and the breakfast buffet was very delicious. This hotel connects with a next door mall so you don’t have to go outside get cold to reach the mall or looking for food. The view of Han River from the room was breathtaking.

We stayed at this property last week for 3 nights and just had a phenomenal time. We stay at luxury properties pretty frequently and we were very impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The bellmen immediately welcomed us when we arrived, took our bags, and escorted us to the front desk. Antonio at the front desk was absolutely terrific. We do not speak Korean (just know a few basic phrases), and he helped arrange us a reservation at a nearby BBQ restaurant which was delicious. The restaurant didn’t pick up while we were at the front desk, but he met us in the lounge 10 minutes later and confirmed the reservation. He also arranged a spa visit for my wife and recommended other near by restaurants during our check in. He never made us feel rushed and took plenty of time to answer all of our questions and requests. For the entire stay the service was above and beyond. While the room was nice, it was probably a little lower than your normal 5 star hotel, but it’s a super large city so I give a little grace on this front. It was still by far the largest and most spacious hotel room we had in Seoul. I’ll also give props to the executive lounge on floor 37. It was incredibly spacious with great views. It also had a solid alcohol selection and great food for a lounge. I’d highly recommend this property if you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of Seoul and be pampered for a few days. It’s also a very good location for foreigners who don’t speak Korean as almost the entire staff spoke near perfect English. Also, the gym was very large and had everything you could want.

Got an upgrade from1 King Bed Deluxe room to1 King Bed Premium River View RoomThe weather was not that good but I enjoyed staying here. The accessibility was good. Many shops around the hotel. The staffs are nice and helpful. I forgot to bring an adapter from Japan and they lent me an adapter to convert from the flat plug to circle plug. Breakfast was variety and tasty :)

Overall a great experience. Been here on a business trip for one night. Nice room with an amazing view (got an upgrade to Premium river view as a Diamond). Rooms are spacious, clean with many features. Bathroom also large and clean. The staff was very friendly, especially the concierges.I really liked the breakfast, even though I had to wait about 10 minutes until I got a table, during peak time (8:30). Wide choice and freshly cooked. The executive lounge also offers a nice view. The hotel is conveniently located above a mall with direct access on the lower floor as well as rain-free access to the Metro (lines 5 and 9). Doesn't take that long to get to ICN / GPO by public transportation, also the main attractions are close. My expectations were exceeded, will definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in Seoul.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.Service levels did not disappoint - very friendly staff who always went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly. Whether that was the main reception, concierge, housekeeping, exec lounge staff or the gym/sauna staff!Room was well appointed with an amazing view of the Han River :)Thanks for making it a memorable stay.

I stayed here one night to check out this very famous K-drama filmed hotel. It is a very nice hotel and the service is impeccable. The rooms are nice and I got a room with great views of the Han River and Namsan Tower. I had access to the executive lounge and tried their co*cktail hour. It was very nice and you have to schedule your time for co*cktail hour. I wish I had more time to check out the pool, spa, and gym while I was there, but I was too busy.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The hotel was kind enough to give us a view of the Han River and the room was really cozy. Two queen sized single beds, tv in the toilet and a central control panel which allows you to control everything easily. The hotel staffs were really helpful too. Always checking if we need transport or help with restaurant reservations. The hotel is conveniently located above IFC mall which has shopping and eateries. The metro station is also a walking distance away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5star stay in Seoul!

I recently just had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at the Conrad Hotel Seoul, and I must say that it was an extremely disappointing experience so far, From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the level of incompetence among the staff was astonishing.Despite being a loyal Diamond member, the early check-in I had requested did not go as planned. I was made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time without any breakfast options available, which is simply unacceptable. As a frequent traveler, I have come to expect much better treatment. The spa area was a complete disaster. Instead of a relaxing retreat, it felt more like a crowded public pool, with constant noise and screaming children. There was no chance for any kind of relaxation or tranquility. To make matters worse, guests were required to purchase a bathing cap, which seemed unnecessary and added to the overall inconvenience. Additionally, it was disheartening to discover that the sauna and whirlpool came at an extra cost. Such facilities should be included in the hotel amenities, especially at this price point.Furthermore, the spa operated on a rigid time slot system, which made it difficult to enjoy the facilities at my preferred time. The hotel seemed to have a plethora of nonsensical rules in place, leaving guests feeling frustrated and restricted. To exacerbate the situation, each staff member seemed to have a different interpretation of these rules, causing even more confusion and dissatisfaction. As a long-time Hilton customer, I expected a significantly higher standard of service and quality. Sadly, the Conrad Hotel Seoul fell far short of my expectations. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Truly a 5 star experience.Pros.- location is connected to the IFC Mall and there's an underground path to the Hyundai mall. Very easy to get around even when it rains.- Staff was great, just had amazing service during my trip.- decor and design was in my opinion modern and just appealing.Areas of improvement.- when it rains it just gets too busy for taxis. Waited quite some time, needed to remind the staff since I was waiting over 30 minutes.Overall, would love to come back. Just a great stay overall.

Establishment does not symbolise the Conrad hospitality. Both the reception staff as well as the duty manager (Brian) couldn't spend enough time annihilating a customer after a long haul flight rather than ensuring booking entitlements. Apathy remained the only thing served in abundance at the executive lounge. It appears the problem is systemic, given the very essence of hospitality and service is lost; and that would mean a systemic leadership issue of setting up a rather co*cky / arrogant culture. Travellers want a home away from home and it is immaterial that one may have the best location, lobby, rooms, bathrooms etc but even the best dish served with contempt would taste unpleasant.

My wife and I stayed at this property for our 5th wedding anniversary. We booked it through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, therefore we we expecting for a fine experience. We’ve traveled to a lot of places and have stayed at Fine Hotels; Conrad Seoul is by far the worst Fine Hotel we’ve stayed at. We were not expecting for an over the top service, but rather the value of what we paid for. Unfortunately, upon check in, we were welcomed by an unprofessional and disrespectful front desk agent. She seemed to be rattled and pressured because there were people in line behind us so she was rushing to check us in. She rudely told us that she cannot find our reservation even after handing her our passports. She asked for my wife’s credit card before she walked us through the check-in process. When I asked if she can add my Hilton Honors membership into the reservation, she flatly replied, “it’s not on your name”. My wife has worked in the hotel industry for years and this has been the most unprofessional service we have experienced. To make up for the rudeness, there was a anniversary greeting on our room window but my name was spelled as Ben instead of Vince. There was no attention to detail and genuine service. The bellmen and concierge were accommodating but other than that, this property needs major employee re-training in terms of customer service.

Only good for business trip. Not good for relaxing unless you in your room. Be ready to dress upscale when you come down to the lobby. Because the hotel property opens for public and no one will remember you staying at the hotel. Unless you up to the dress code they will treat you differently. Btw Spa were amazing!!

Everything about this hotel pretty much sucks. It seems good but it really isnt. The food is probably the worst i’ve ever tried at a hotel in my entire life of traveling. Breakfast is okay. The lunch and dinner options are miserable. The Italian food tastes horrendous and the steak they serve at the lounge has an extremely awkward flavor. The lounge food served sandwiches that looked strange and also food poisoned me. The coffee was beyond terrible. Whats even worse is that you had to pay for almost everything. For example the hot tub wasn't free and you had to pay to use it. My two sons were looking forward to using the gym but they were not of age. I should have researched better before deciding to come to this hotel. I thought this hotel offered a better bang for the buck than the Four Seasons, but I was wrong. Please find any hotel that isn't this place

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Conrad Seoul. The well-equipped room, thoughtful amenities like free water and chocolates, and a delightful breakfast buffet with a diverse selection of American and Asian items made my experience memorable. I look forward to returning!

From the moment I arrived at the Conrad Seoul, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. As a guest in the Suite room, I was treated to a blend of modern luxury and exceptional service that made my stay unforgettable. The suite itself was a masterpiece of comfort and style. The room was spacious, featuring elegant furnishings and a breathtaking view of the city skyline that added an extra touch of magic to my stay. Every detail seemed carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort, from the plush bedding to the serene decor. The bathroom was equally impressive, outfitted with high-end fixtures and a soothing aesthetic. It provided a spa-like experience that was both refreshing and rejuvenating. The amenities provided, including luxury bath products, added a lavish touch that enhanced the overall experience.Conrad Seoul didn’t stop at just the basics; the additional amenities and services were truly remarkable. Dining at the hotel was a delight, with several restaurants offering a range of exquisite dishes that catered to every palate.Service throughout the hotel was impeccable. The staff was attentive and professional, going above and beyond to accommodate every request with a smile. Their commitment to providing a personalized and seamless experience was evident in every interaction. The only drawback to my stay was the price, which was on the higher side. However, given the quality of the facilities and services, it felt justified, albeit a consideration for budget-conscious travelers. In conclusion, my stay at Conrad Seoul was a remarkable experience, marked by luxury, comfort, and stellar service. For anyone looking to indulge in a luxurious escape in the heart of Seoul, Conrad Seoul stands out as a prime choice, despite the premium cost. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

I booked an executive king room and also a king corner suite for my mom. Both were comfortable with incredible views. The breakfast is an impressive and tasty spread with lots of options. The gym is well appointed and the sauna is clean and relaxing. I especially want to thank Mrs. Kim who does Korean scrubs and massages in the sauna. I have a lot of problems with my joints and neck and she helped with them immensely, showing me how to strengthen my feet and stretch my hips! I really appreciated the ease of communicating with staff by text, and of getting taxis through the concierge. A couple of areas that need work: the check-in process was slow and disorganized. The key cards are frustrating to use; they don’t always work in the elevators. The restaurant charges 10,000 won to take home any leftovers, which, given the high prices seems ridiculous. But overall, a really solid hotel.

I love my stay at Conrad Seoul! The staff, the service and the room was great!Service:I had many questions and requests prior to my stay as I was celebrating my mom's birthday. The staff answered all my emails promptly and organised everything. When I checked in the hotel, everything was done correctly. Front desk was very helpful when I checked in. I had ordered room service and staff were great too. When I had afternoon tea in 37 Grill, the staff was attentive and helpful. I had breakfast at the Zest as part of the room. Breakfast was good although food could be a bit hotter/ warmer.Room: It was a twin Queen bed Corner Premium Room. Room was clean and turndown service was amazing. Only downside was toilet got clogged. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable including the bed and pillows. We definitely enjoyed our stay!Location: It gets tricky. I stay as a staycation, but if I wanted to go to tourist areas. Probably not the best although there are many taxis just outside the hotel. Just to note, the hotel is connected to the IFC mall and short distance from the Hyundai Mall and the Han River. There are many coffee shops around the area. There are 2 train lines (line 5 and 9) close to it however is not the popular train lines to get to tourist areas.I had this hotel as a staycation and would definitely love to stay here again.

Six stars! A great hotel, in a central location, conveniently next to the IFC mall as well as subway train station. Our suite was large, great views of Seoul and the river. The beds were comfortable, and all the amenities you might expect were present. The executive lounge on the top floor is nice, with even more amazing views and yummy snacks in the evening. The breakfast is massive, with western and Korean dishes. The staff everywhere were super friendly.

I stayed here for 7 nights. For the first 3 nights, I was upgraded from a deluxe king to an executive king room. It was a very nice room, reminicent of the rooms I had at Conrad Tokyo, but it was also a bit small. For the last 4 nights, I opted to pay extra to upgrade myself to an executive king suite and I must say the suites here are so much bigger than in Conrad Tokyo!! It was perhaps the best room I’ve stayed in so far.The hotel is conveniently located next to at least three bus stops: one in front of the hotel, one by the IFC buildings, and one directly outside of the Hyundai Department Store, which is right across the hotel. It is also located near Yeouido Station, which is serviced by Lines 5 and 9. There is also the IFC Mall which you can directly access through the guestroom elevators. It is a bit far from all the touristy spots such as Myeongdong, Hongdae, and Gangnam, but you can easily reach those places through public transit or a taxi within 30 minutes to an hour. You can walk 10 minutes to Hangang Park and see the cherry blossoms in the spring, but it gets very crowded there. The room service food was amazing and plentiful. I had the hanwoo beef burger and beef bulgogi, and I must say the beef bulgogi was my favorite by far. I wish I went to the breakfast at Zest instead of at the executive lounge, because there were way more options and honestly I think the quality of the food was superior to the breakfast at the executive lounge. The staff at the executive lounge were amazing though! After my 2nd visit, the staff members recognized me and let me through without asking for my room number, instead saying “welcome back!” which I felt was very nice. I’m not sure what their name was, but the staff members that worked at 2-3pm have been exceptional to me.The lobby tends to get very crowded and elevators take forever to reach you no matter what time of day, which is my only negative about the place. Otherwise, this has been one of my favorite hotels so far; the turndown service has been excellent and the staff have overall been very friendly. I wish I got to experience the rooftop bar, but I never had the time. Maybe next time. I bought a Conrad duck as a souvenir :) Though, as a Diamond member, I thought I would be checking in at the executive lounge like I did in Conrad Tokyo, as I saw people checking in there, but that was not the case for me. No complaints, though, because check-in was easy and there was practically zero line for it. I hope to stay here again upon my return to Seoul.

One of –if not THE best hotel I have ever been. Great buildings, great rooms, great executive lounge, incredible kind, helpful and competent staff –really incredible, especially if you come from Europe. Great location, great views. I am really excited by this hotel and its great staff, which makes you feel like home! My compliments to the managers!

As an diamond member, I had an access to executive lounge. Berry Kim, lounge manager was excellent in kindness and responsiveness. I do thanks to her who makes my experience so special. As for the hotel, the room is a bit smaller compared to Conrad Tokyo and Conrad Osaka. But the location is superb as it is connected to Hyundai Shopping Mall and IFC mall.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are luxurious, clean, and well appointed. Stayed here with work, and such a wonderful experience. It's located in the business district, and so much around. Upscale mall, with many food options. Also, the hotel has several dining options, including a wonderful breakfast buffet...close to public transportation. Definitely see why it is a 5 star hotel!

Shelly Young — Google review

Booking as an Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and a Honors Diamond member? Forget it, you’ll get nickeled and dimed for everything, benefits don’t overlap, and “guaranteed upgrades” through the program look no different than the original room you booked. Just a total penny pinching property.

Alex Vibber — Google review

The hotel is right above IFC mall. Elevator access right to the mall. Very nice hotel. The staff is super friendly. The room is good sized. Super nice bathroom with bathtub and standalone shower. Lighting, temperature and blinds can be controlled by the bed side panel. Nespresso machine and 3 pods were provided. Very good location.
