Although the other major late-night talk shows will be on hiatus this coming week, CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden” will be producing original episodes.
The August 30 edition will feature Sabrina Carpenter.
CBS confirms that Carpenter, who is fresh off the release of her acclaimed album “Emails I Can’t Send,” will perform on that night’s edition of “Corden.” The episode will also feature a discussion with Guy Fieri and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

Sabrina Carpenter wrote that she was “very grateful” to have been able to hold grandma Marilyn Cartwright’s hand “one last time”.
Sabrina Carpenter is mourning the loss of her beloved grandmother.
The “Fast Times” singer, 22, shared a sweet tribute on Instagram Thursday in honor of her late grandma Marilyn Cartwright, saying she was “very grateful” to have been able to hold her hand “one last time”.
“I couldn’t have dreamt up a better grandma than you. You were always so interested in the details that most people look right past, you made every person you spoke to feel so individually important”, Carpenter wrote. “You gave me so much authentic genuine love for so much of my life and I will never take that for granted. I really miss my biggest fan”.
Carpenter noted that she hoped “they have ping pong and understand your sarcasm up there”, and concluded: “Nothing is or will ever be the same without you here”.
The Girl Meets World actress posted a carousel of photos combining both recent shots of her and Cartwright as well as throwbacks of her grandmother as a young woman, including what appears to be her wedding day and a snap of her wearing a shirt baring the famous “Lady Marmalade” lyrics, “Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir?”
Carpenter — who lost her grandfather Frank Cartwright, Marilyn’s husband, in April 2020 — previously offered fans glimpses of their close relationship on social media.
In December 2019, after a fan wished the singer a merry Christmas, she responded, “Hope you’re having a beautiful holiday. I’ll be playing ping pong with grandma lol she a beast”.
Three years earlier, Carpenter joked that Cartwright liked her song “Smoke and Fire” because “it has a hot beat to it“!
The former Disney Channel star released the single “Fast Times” in February, and the song is set to appear on her forthcoming fifth studio album, which will be her first since signing with Island Records.

April Fools’ Days may have come and gone, but Sabrina Carpenter and Sofia Carson’s pranking days are still ahead!
The Disney Channel actresses are set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Disney XD’s innovative new series, Walk the Prank, which blends scripted comedy with real hidden-camera pranks.
Sabrina and Sofia, who are also starring together this summer in the Disney Channel movie, Adventures in Babysitting (based on the 1987 film of the same name), will each be featured in their own babysitting-themed pranks.
“I am so excited to finally be able to pull off an epic prank!” Sofia spilled to ET ahead of her appearance. “The most special part will definitely be the big reveal. It’ll be amazing to see the babysitter’s reaction at the end of the episode!”
As for Sabrina, the Girl Meets World star is most excited about completely “transforming” herself for the prank. “Getting to go totally undercover and, of course, just seeing the looks on people’s faces when they get pranked is the reason prank shows were created. It’s priceless”, she shared.
Walk the Prank features scripted storylines centering on four kids’ antics in school and at home, which provide a source of inspiration for their pranks. The real and outlandish hidden-camera pranks, seen throughout each episode, capture genuine reactions from unsuspecting strangers.
But before the Disney Channel starlets film their laugh-tastic episodes later this month, we asked them to spill the details on the best prank they’ve ever pulled off!
“I pranked a phone call to my boss saying it was from the president of our company”, Sabrina dished. “He bought it for two seconds, but that’s all I needed.”
Sabrina may already be a pranking pro, but Sofia admits she’s definitely in need of a good coach. “I am usually the one being pranked!” the Descendants star confessed. “I have never pulled off a prank in my life, so you can imagine how unbelievably excited I am to be a part of such an epic prank in Walk the Prank!”

Sabrina to Perform in ‘Peter Pan and Tinker Bell — A Pirates Christmas’ Play

Sabrina has been cast as Wendy Darling in Pasadena Playhouse’s production of ‘Peter Pan and Tinker Bell — A Pirates Christmas’ Play. The play runs from December 9, 2015 through January 3, 2016.The official posters has been added to the gallery.
Pasadena Playhouse and Lythgoe Family Productions have announced the cast for this year’s Panto at the Playhouse, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell A Pirate Christmas. Bonnie Lythgoe will direct the production, which is set to open December 9 and play through January 3.
Girl Meets World’s Sabrina Carpenter will star as Wendy. She will be joined by her costars Corey Fogelmanis as John and August Maturo as Michael. The cast will also feature Kevin Quinn (Bunk’d, American Idol) as Peter Pan and Nikki SooHoo (The Lovely Bones) as Tiger Lily. Additional casting is to be announced.
Peter Pan and Tinkerbell A Pirate Christmas has a book by Kris Lythgoe. The production will include choreography by Spencer Liff (Spring Awakening) and musical direction by Michael Orland. Scenic and costume design will be by Lythgoe Family Productions.
“Once again, our partners have put together a sterling, exciting, and gifted cast to bring our very special holiday programming to our stage.
